Hi,

My name is Scott Kane. I'm a software developer
and keen aquarium keeper (I also keep reptiles
and amphibians - "herps"). I'm looking for
interested persons for a new aquarium software
series I am writing. You can see a sample of
my work for herpetology at http://www.proherp.com
As software development is my profession
it is intended that new concepts and ease of
use will be a major feature of the product line.

If you are interested in being a member of a
test team for the software please, rather than
clog this newsgroup, contact me using my
email address

We will only be adding a small number of
people so it would be a good idea to get
in early if you wish to join. All our testers
receive complimentary copies of our
software.

In appreciation of your time;

Scott Kane

Scott, is the development software you are referring to for "herps" or
for aquariums? I keep Freshwater aquariums, so I would not be able to
help with Marine related software. Thanks!

Hi Karen,

It's for aquariums and would be for both fresh and marine tanks.
I would value any input you may like to give regardless of tank
type. Let me know if you are interested...

This sounds neat. Is the software available for mac OSX, or is it a Windows-only thing?
