View Full Version : Trigger Fishes

November 20th 05, 06:26 PM
In November'05 edition of Tropical Fish Hobbyist there was an article
by James Fatherree about trigger fishes in a Japanese public aquarium.
In the tank are 10 species of triggers, all different and of various
sizes. The tank is about 5' x 4' x 4' , about 600 U.S. gallons. He has
seen this tank over several years, and believes that the current
occupants are the same ones he saw many years ago.
The biggest, and boss of the tank, is a Queen trigger at about 14''
(35 cms) long. One of the other occupants is a Clown trigger, so I
wonder for how long peace will reign. I hope the aquarium writes an
article about how they managed to introduce the fish together (and how
many losses).

Regards, Fishnut.
