Got a 10 gallon tank (38ish liters). Five Black Mollies and one male
Betta. They get along just fine, but at feeding, the mollies act like
piranhas and eat all the food before the mellow betta has a chance to
get any.

I've tried waiting until the Mollies are sleeping, but once they see the
little can, they spring into action.

Any tips as to how to make sure the betta gets some food (besides
waiting until the mollies produce live betta food)?

Sure....
Whether you're feeding flake or Bloodworms or Brine, just release it
under the water's surface. Not in just one spot either. Kind of shwoosh
it around under the water.
That way the food goes all over the place and the Mollies aren't going
to get it all.
Don't worry about that Betta for too long either.
He will soon learn how to use those fins and firgure out to swim fast.
They don't swim slow for too long in a community tank. Most of them
just don't know how until they get a chance to spread those fins and
fly around around the tank.
He'll quickly be snatching up food as fast at the Mollies, so when you
see him doing that...then you'll be able to feed as normal.
Also, keep an eye on the Betta. Many times Mollies or just one Molly
will decide his fins look too tastely and nip him up. So keep an eye on
him.
It's usually the Betta that gets nipped up....not the other way around.
