View Full Version : How bad is this?

Today I wanted to add a couple of power heads to my reef.

Like a dumb $h!+ I put them in the tank and plugged them in to make sure
they worked. While I placed them and was trying to hide the cords behind
rockwork, they unded up pointing downward and stirring up about half of my
DSB.

Should I be worried?

well if it is a well established DSB then you may/may not have problems. it
'can' cause a bacteria bloom in the tank that can cause some serious
problems, it is recommended that a DSB not be disturbed by any means
possible.
