My sea bay turned BROWN.... I have been feeding it silversides... Any
sugesstions on how to get it back to its original color ???

I would be willing to bet that brown is its original color. If when you
got it it was white or other very bright color it was bleached and or
dyed, and now it is recovering from that and should survive now.

if its turning brown your doing the perfect thing to get it back to it's
original color.
Seabe's are very easy to stress and when brought into captivity they stress
and bleach themselves out to the bright white with purple tips. when they
are healthy they are brown/tan and the tentacle spots are barely noticeable.

I aquired a sebae anemone today from my good ol LFS (that I work at :) and
I'm just wondering what is silverside? My store doesn't carry much food for
marines, but we sell a ton of fish and corals (go figure). I probably have
to order some food in from somewhere, and can get a product from Coralife
called: ...ahh I can't remember..but what is recommended for these critters?

It's white with purple tips...waiting for it to ease up a little..it's
spread out quite a bit but hasn't started to wander from where I put it when
I got it home...hopefully it does ok..

Subject of my post: what are silversides and where do I get them? :D

edit: sebae's LOVE light do they not? I turned on my actinic light and
everyone's happy. My 10000K light turns on 30 minutes later, and my sebae
shrivels up into a ball... any idea why?

silversides are small marine bait fish, you can order them from some of the
online places.

and yes sebae's love light.
