Hello all,

I just took a ton of pic's of my new 220 tank. i'm having a ton of fun
w/ it and it looks like the occupants are as well :)

Great pics and great looking fish - thanks for sharing :-)

Just curious about the tank in the cupboard in the stand and can't quite
work out what it's for...

BTW what are the dimensions of this tank? Currently researching my tank
upgrade

the 10gal tank in the cupboard is a hospital tank. A few of the clowns
got ick once.. I was going to medacate the entire tank but once I found
out how much it would be :) I quickly went out and found a used 10gal
tank w/ all the fixings for about $15 :)

I found this used 220gal 7' long x2' tall by 2' deep tank on craigslist
http://www.craigslist.org/ for $550! it came w/ one magnum 350 pro. I've
sense also added two AC110's and it seems to be doing well.

I know in a few years once my giant goramy gets "big" I'll need to cut
way back on the fish. but currently they are all doing very well.

What are the plants? Are these plastic? I wonder where did you get
them. I don't see that kind around.

I would really enjoy seeing your discus pics.

The plants you see are plastic. and I agree, they are awesome! what I
really like about them is they float. The brand is Fancy Plants Giants
and I think they come in 3 different version. They are very affordable
and really did a great job filling in this big tank.

One of my very favorite fish of all time :) the very first time I saw
one in the 80s I just had to have it. the fins almost prehistoric (big
spiny dorsal) and when the light shines on them each scale almost looks
like it has a small blue/green light in it.

They will never start a fight with others (although, they do like to be
the only earth eater in the tank) but they will defend themselves.

Also, with the earth eating habits that they have.. who needs to gravel
vac? <g>
