Yes, but he may or may not take bites out of them in such a small tank. Not
all male bettas leave other fish alone. Why not remove the platy fry to
another tank? That many need at least a 10g tank anyway.

Actually I don't really plan on keeping the platies. They were kind
of an "accident". Hopefully I will be able to give them away if they
grow up.

Why not donate the baby fry platies to the local lfs even while they
are young? You shouldn't have to worry about them as if they were
kittens or puppies in this world given my experience with lfs's and
