Blue Guarami Turned Black

I have a 2 year old Blue Guarami that about a week ago I noticed that
the black dot 1/2 way down the body had bencome a vertical line. Today
I noticed the fish is completely black from middle to back over the
entire body. Does anyone know what this is?
