I got the HOT Magnum filter for Christmas. I'm using it in a 30 gallon
long tank. It works great but creates a lot of turbulence. Is there a
way to baffle or slow down the rate of flow?

Attaching a hose to the output of your hot magnum and then a spray bar to
the end of the hose might work for you. The spray bar will distribute the
water flow over a greater amount of area and allow maximum filtration
without disturbing the tanks occupants as much or even at all. Try calling
or e-mailing www.thatpatplace.com at the proper e-mail address listed there
and ask them what exact particular pieces of hardware you need to get. It
shouldn't cost more than $20.00 I predict. Good luck and later!
