Great pics - lovely tanks. One thing I'm curious about is the bottle in
one of them - is this for a true authentic river bed look (lol) or am I
missing something?

Thanks for sharing
Gill

Nice tanks. The first one is WAY too small for Frontosa though. They should
have a 6foot tank.

Lovely tanks. Is that Angel / Gourami tank a 75g? Trying to get an idea
of the Angel's size..I'm an Angelfish and Betta fancier / breeder for
many years, so of course your Angel tank got my eye. ; )

However, I do agree with Canadian Grey that the Frontosa needing a
much larger tank.

The eel lives in the bottle most of the time, but yes I really was trying to
capture the look of a real lake or river bed too :)

Oh believe me I know, I am slowly saving me pennies for a 125 or 150gall.
But as you probably know, that's a LOT of pennies. I would never make a 20
their permanent home.

The angel tank is a 90g, and seems to be the perfect size. I also have
small schools of red eye and buenos aires tetras and a couple of rainbows in
there, makes for some nice movement that you don't reaaly get from the
angels (except ofcourse at feeding time).
I had been thinking of moving the fronties to the 90, but i couldn't bare to
take the current fishes out, my wife likes the angels too (bonus!!!).
Besides, I fully agree, the fronties need even more room. Now I just need to
find the room.
It never ends, does it?

You sure succeeded. All you need in that tank is an old boot or car tire.

When I was a kid, we had a glass ashtry that the outer border was, yes, a
rubber tire. I've been trying to track it down for years now, but no luck
yet.

Thanks, if I didn't keep them clean, I would be facing some serious
resistance from the wife.
