Hi,
In addition to the red slime I've STILL never been able to rid my 46bow
FOWLR of, I've had a crop of something similar only orange, for the last
month or so.
I posted here and a few suggested dinoflaggates. I'm not having much luck
with it. An oddity from the start was that it only appeared over the
right half of my tank. Today I noticed something, due to the seasonal
shifting of the sun's position in the sky, I noticed that direct sunlight
is indeed hitting that half of the tank for about 20 minutes a day. I
never noticed this before since I'm normally at work then, and during
other seasons the sun doesnt hit it at all.
So does this sound like the culprit? Does it shed any light (pun
intended) on what my orange slime is? Does it confirm dino, or suggest
something else?
Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about the light. I close the
venetian blinds, but the column of holes for the drawstring still lets
some beams thru. In fact its that narrow beam with the blinds closed that
I noticed hitting the tank today.
TIA
