what is the best method to mix kalk? i read on 1 label to stir until
dissolved & powder settles, 1 read to mix with a powerhead let settle
then add,on a web search it said u can add kalk that is not even
settled, still cloudy, pour slowly into tank in a high flow area. i mix
with powerhead 4 about 10 min. let settle, then drip slowly. is there a
method that u can get the best results from?
thanks all

carefully :)

for kalk and dosing a powerhead is significantly overkill, using a reactor that has a
powerhead is different.

ive tried this a few times, I dont like it, however I dont do it that way often and one of
the things that it takes is doing it a little at a time and knowing that your not doing
anything crazy, something I just dont need to do.

depending on what/how your mixing it you are actually probibly not getting the best out of
your mix, co2 and kalk is a bad mix, (not bad but in effective) its also not really that
hard to get your kalk mixed up and shouldnt take 10 minutes even on the cheasiest
powerhead, I do favor not adding the white liquid but only the clear middle
