I'm setting up a new 90 gal discus/planted tank and thought I'd give it
a try rather then the Flourite Red that I have in the other tank. (I've
had no problems with the Flourite, just thought I'd try something else.)
One thing I have noticed is the massive root growth I've had in
comparison to leaves in my old tank. A few more leaves and less roots would
make me happy, but perhaps not my plant!
84F, 6.2 ph, 3KH, 55 gallons, 130watts/10-12 hrs, Marineland 350 with
Fluval XP2.
Thanks!

Yes I've got it in my 110 planted tank. I am VERY happy with it,

I used 20 pounds if EC, mixed with sand, in a 10 gallon tank. After
more than a year, I'm still harvesting excess plants :-).
I started adding trace elements after I'd had the tank set up for a
while and, getting carried away, I recently started adding Excel.
If my fish grew this fast, I'd be eating them :-).

I have 50/50 Flourite and Eco Complete. I did the mixture for color
and my plants are doing great. Healthy swords, grasses, and crypts
should have a much root as leaf.

Thanks very much for the help! I've picked it up and I'll give it a try!
