Q: Float valves

I picked up a float valve from home depot, all plastic black, do i have to
worry about the plastic leaching anything unwanted into the tank?

yes. if its not food grade plastic, then its more than likely going to be
toxic.

Ok i just checked the kent float valve is of abs so are these, i thought abs
was a don't?
