I'm getting ready to move from Georgia to Maine (approx 1300 miles) and i
was wondering what the best way to transport my livestock. Its a 2 day drive
with a uhaul. Any ideas or proven methods for long travel would be
appreciated.

Battery powered air pumps, plastic coolers, and as many premixed gallons
of water you can carry with you. I'm here in Georgia now, I could call
you and tell you what I have done on my many moves. Just e-mail me if
that's what you would like to discuss. I have had good luck on all my
moves.

why premixed? either carry the salt amd mix it when you get there, or carry
your EXISTING water. why premix salt with water when the water is so heavy
unless your just talking about existing water.. wolf.
i transported most of my rocks and water for 60 gal in one plastic laundry
tub that is approx 20-40 gal? its one of those about 3 feet long by 1/1/2
high and 2 wide.
i wrapped a few straps of duct tape around the belley of it so it wouldnt
burst on my drive but stacking insulating material and weight up against the
sides will insulate the heat in and keep the sides strong as well. then you
can keep your glass without any rock in it to avoid breakage, and you could
fill or stuff your glass with something soft like blankets or clothes inside
trash bags or something to utilize the space..
also i thought of a waterbed or back heating pad you could place under water
containers to keep warm if you could find something that runs more efficient
that a high wattage heater.. INSULATE INSULATE you will save electricity
and or time...
