I got some frags of mushrooms and some were loose flosting in the bag, what
is the best way to attach these to live rock with minial stress to them, for
the ones that were not attached to the rock I can't seem to find a crevice
or anything to wedge them in? Here are the frags I got.

Mushrooms will attach on their own. Just put them where you want them, and wrap
them with some netting (or bridal veil) for 4 or 5 days.

The GSP can be attached with super glue GEL to any rock you like.

I'm no expert at all. But when I got blue mushrooms in the mail from a
different source, all were attached to the rock except one, who was floating
free, like yours.

I almost threw the floater out, figuring he's lost. But instead I just tossed
him in my tank (7 gal nanoreef) as is, floating around. He found his own
place. He actually worked the currents to move around the tank for a few weeks,
then decided on a nice place for himself, and attached to a rock on his own.
He's now the biggest and healthiest mushrooom I have.

Wow thats awesome, I did not know if they would be hurt or stress by
floating in the current, but I just looked and I do notice that one has
settled on the back side of a piece of live rock and has opened up.

Mushrooms are very interesting to me in this manner.

I had a red one that was a hitch hiker on a piece of LR. After a month, it
detached itself. I tried to put it in places I thought it would be happy
but I would always find it on the sand the next day.

I could swear this thing was trying to use the currents in order to relocate
itself.

Eventually I put it somewhere that it was happy and it reattached itself.
It's been there for a good 2 or 3 months now.
