I've been taking some pictures recently of various items in my tanks, as well as
some full tank shots. I hope you enjoy them.

Marc,
Just when I think you've shown it all, you do something like this. I am
astounded yet again. Thanks for sharing.

I realize it can get boring when I post the same images over and over, but as
new things are added it makes for some nice stuff to share online again.

I'll probably need to do some type of growth page like others have done, at some
point. Just to show comparisons from frag to something nice and big. :)

Marc, it has always been my dream to have my reef aquarium to look as
professional as yours!! >>> I noticed that a lot of people place their clams
on the floor of their tank like the one you have in your 29gallon tank, can
it be placed closer to the light or is this the safest place? Are you
using MH lighting for your 29gallon tank? Thanks- MIKE

Hi Mike,

Actually, what is really important is to check on your tank often. I just
finished the final touches on two sumps for the past hour and a half. I checked
on the 55g and my lovely Montipora capricornis was lying in my Milleopora
*again!!!!!* That darn urchin loves to push anything out of the way.

I'd say this is about the 5th time I've had to rescue the m.cap and if it hadn't
been bothered so often it would be double the size it is now. Grrrr. I ziptied
it to a boulder for now. <rolling eyes>

Clams can be in the rockwork or on the substrate. My Maxima was on the top rock
when I got it because I was worried it wouldn't get enough light. However,
after about 6 weeks it jumped to the substrate. I moved it back up but it was
dancing around up there and I didn't want it to fall again. So I put it back
where it was, and it has been in that spot ever since. I've had it for 16
months now.

The 29g uses 165w of PC lighting, not MH.

Marc

Always great looking at your tanks Marc

In answer to your question about the favites...mine has been doing well with
light and catching small pieces of frozen food from the tank. Occasionally
I feed my plerogyra with some swee****er zooplankton after the lights are
out, and I will shoot soem of the min the direction of the moon brain as
well.

Have only had the brain for about three months, but it has been looking
great so far.
