Hi;
Any opinions on the Seaclone 100 for an 80G reef? The principle seems good
and the price is right.
Thanks,

Hi Dan,
It's really not worth it. Try to shop around for a used Remora Pro or even a
used EuroReef. The seaclone didn't pull anything out compared to what my Aqua C
Ev-200 pulls out.

At least you are heading the right direction. ;) If you wanna go one step
further, go all the way and get a Remora. :)

That's what I meant to say...Remora Pro. I guess I was thinking I would need
CPR if I got the Seaclone 8^)

I guess you're right. ;) Or the ER knock-off ASM perhaps?

once upon a time I'd have said "get the real deal, not some wanna-be"
but I'd like to have the ASM's collection cup 'twist lock' on my ER over the
true union which leaks.

How about a compromise...a sump and an Urchin?

its a compromise but an acceptable one. I let someone talk me into getting
an Urchin Pro for my 75, and I really wished I'd got the ER but cant see
buying a new one now with the aqua-c already in there.
