Has anyone else shot themselves in the face with a powerhead? I'd like
to think I'm not the only one.....
So much for tank maintenance *before* coffee!
Cheers!

I think I can top that!
My wife wakes me up in the middle of the night saying it's raining.
I grumble, so what and try to go back to sleep.
She elbows me and says, but it's raining on my side of the bed, grabs
my hand and holds it over her.
Sure enough, it's raining on her side of the bed. Salt water too!
Up with the lights!
Only to see, new puppy turned escape artist and got out of her cage,
gnawing on the return lines from the sump to the tank, and being quite
successful at it. There was a hole spraying sal****er all the way
from the den to the bedroom! Fortunately, it was the only hole and
positioned such that it woke her up.
This is only the first time this happened! Yet she is always
complaining about her side of the bed being the side that gets when
(ouch).

Right. I don't think I'll share that one with my husband. Somehow I
suspect it might worry him (we have two dogs and a
soon-to-be-toddler). Too much opportunity for similar errors!
Cheers!

In Canada? Not to mention in Newfoundland? Gimme a break! Powerheads
and waterpistols are about it around here.

Bloody awful, actually. I've never been partial to gulping seawater,
despite my siblings shoving me off umpteen wharves.
Cheers!

I hate to think of what would have happened if the water spray didn't
wake us up!
