I know that Acro's rely a great deal on photo-synthesis for food but does
anyone feed
them after lights out when polyps are fully extended?

I try from time to time. I've used a number of foods after dark, such as baby
brine shrimp, CoralPlankton(TM), phyto, Cyclop-Eeze(TM), etc...

I feed Live rotifers, live baby brine, cyclop-eeze, golden pearls, but I
think they benifit most from the micro-fauna that spawns after heavy feedings
of DT's

I've been having a lot of success with frozen cyclop-eeze for my planktivore
fish and corals.

Get one of their large bricks and cut it up to save some money.
