I bought 2 wild caught percales for $4.00 less than tank raised and now I
think I wasted my money because these little guys are dying. My tank is in
perfect health, water quality is perfect and my other fish are doing great.
Is this a common occurrence with wild caught percales?

That can happen sometimes. I prefer to buy tank raised because they are often
trained to eat prepared foods.

Some divers use chemicals to stun the fish. They float to the surface and
they then collect them. After the use of chemicals it is sometimes hard to
get them to eat.
