it isn't going to leach anything out. it will corrode if you allow your
tank water to flow back into it so a good check valve is needed on your CO2
line just before the reactor.

I am trying to think how CO2 could react with copper
and I cannot figure it out... No danger from this side.
CO2, even if wet, creates to weak acid (H2CO3) to react
with metalic copper and migrate in a gas form to the water...
I would say it is perfectly safe, but maybe you should ask The Oracle ;-)
(I mean Mr. Boomer)

I would rather check how clean is the CO2 you use...

It seem like the "Oracle" is mising for some time now.

The CO2 gas will not harm the fittings, but your SW will kill it within
days. So if your plan includes using them for water, then dont even think
about it.
