I plan on adding a MH fixture to my canopy as well as a moonlight LED
set. tank is a 75 gal standard w/ 110W 10K PC's and 110W Actinic PC's.
I have 2 large toadstool leathers 1ft. diam. heads (fully extended
polyps) as well as zenias and a couple other SPS's I'm too lazy to list.

What is the prefered method to aclimate my softys to the new lighting
arrangement.

thanks,
Paul S.

Well, you can't exactly compare wattage to wattage between PCs and MHs, because
of the sheer intensity. However, what is considered the best option is to start
off with a short lighting period and gradually increase it each day.

So lets say you've got your PC actinics running 12 hours a day, and you plan to
have MH 10,000K bulbs. Run them only 2 hours the first day, then add 15 minutes
longer each day until you reach 10 hours a day.

(If that is your schedule).

Thanks Marc, this is exactly the suggestion I was looking for.
