Thanks to everyone for there input.
I decited to go with harbor. I spoke with Joy tonight and have to say what a wonderfull lady.
Keep in mind that I'm sick as a dog right now and between not being able to think clearly
and the head draining into my throat making me sound like a confused wookie, she was quite
patient listing to this nyquil induced moron.
Her rock instock will not be ready to go untill next week but we did make a deal on snails.
As for reefer I'll let you be the judge as to the email they sent me
My orig. e-mail that took almost 24hrs to answer
Hi
I'm planning on getting some rock in the next few days and am trying to make a decision on
where to get it.
I have looked a Walt Smiths website but still have a few questions.
1 is the rock drop shipped from Walt Smith or is it coming from your warehouse?
2 if the rock is at your warehouse. Is it sitting in the boxes or has it been removed into some
kind of storage facility?
3 What kind of hitchhikers can I expect.
4 what is the major difference between the Fiji premium and the cultured(aside from being man made)?
5 could you send me a few pics of a recently opened box of both.
Thank you for your time
now these ques. were very simple but there reply added more ques. for me to ask.
so screw it
Yes the rock is transshipped directly from Walt Smith’s warehouse in Los Angeles.
We get 2-3 shipments of rock a week. We rent space out of the warehouse there.
Generally the rock is primarily purple coralline algae.
It has been scrubbed of the macro algae and sponge material in Fiji.
The Fiji and Aqua Cultured is very similar. Generally the Aqua Cultured is a little
more red in coloration.
Unfortunately we can’t get any photos at this time.
We’re working on photos of our new corals right now.
If we get some time we’ll get some pictures taken.

If we get some time ? FU

Hmmm didn't know they had a warehouse there. sitting in the box?
scrubbed? Yea I know that they kinda power wash the rock. I'm not to thrilled with
that to begin with, but I remember others raving about the quality of there rock.
Well as far as I'm concerned after shipping $1 more a lb and tanked cured, not washed..........
Oh forgot that with the weather and gas prices that just jumped up to $2 a gal.
the trip to harbor would cost more than shipping.
