Hi Reefers:
My tank is great and everyone/everything inside is doing well,
but.....
This past Saturday, I noticed a few strange white bugs on the glass
and have spent the last few days trying to identify them. No luck. I
need your expert opinions as to what they are and how to get rid of
them.
Description:
They are small, white and curled up into a perfect circle. They do
not move but are beginning to multiply. I am starting to see them on
the clam and some of the rocks.
LOL I rather have an over growth of algae........
Thanks in advance and have a great night......

If they are very small, and hard like a shell, they are spirorbid worms.

Thank you so much Mark.
I will look at all the pictures I can find on these invaders. If it
turns out to be the Spirorbid Worm what can I do to get rid of them?
They are starting to cover everything.
Thanks again and have a great day.

Here is a picture of a couple:

Now, they are very very tiny, and this is a picture of a couple on the outside of a test
tube from an old Ammonia test kit!
You can scrape them off the glass with a razor blade. I only remove what blocks my view.
In other words, if it is on the back glass, I leave them, but the front and sides remain
clear.
