Hi all...

I could use some assistance in setting up a rotifer culture station.
I already have phyto plankton growing and I have room on my shelf for more
bottles.
Is there a good step by step page somewhere for DIYers?

TIA

it really all depends, what densities do you want, for low densities up to about 300/ml
which is more than enough for a reef, but not enough to breed with you really dont need a
manual, just setup a 10gallon tank, fill with rotifers add air then add phyto when it
clears and have at it, it doesnt get much more complex than that,

for middle of the road densities 300/ml to 1,200/ml, bigger reefs and small time or
ocasional breeders.

for high densities up to 12,000/ml HUGE reefs and ocasional breeders up

for a good reference

if your not electronics challanged check out the continous phyto culture station at the
above link

also the PCM is a good thing to have

and any of the rotifer/phyto links in the breeders forum on RC

Go to Flame*Angel's site. Click on the GIANT WORD "NAVIGATION" on the right
side of the screen, and look down the menu for Rotifers.

I just started my own culture about two weeks ago, and it seems to be working.
I've got only one bottle going, so you could say that I've got all my eggs in
one basket and you know what happens then.....
