SEA URCHIN FOOD ?

What do you feed a sea urchin ? The type that is a sphere with protruding
spikes that looks like a WW II mine ? Are they just filter feeders ? If so
do they eat like giant clams ? Or , coral ? I would not think they would
eat like an anemone. Thanks.

Urchins scrub algae from rocks and glass with their 5 teeth.
Their mouth (oral opening) is on the bottom, their anus is on the top.

he may be describing a pencil urchin, and if so, he can feed it corals.
