artificial Live rock???

I'm thinking of getting a fish only salt tank and was wondering if
'they' make artificial live rock? And if so - where to buy it.

Most decent LFS's have a selection of rocks and decor, some of which does
look a bit like live rock, minus the critters, obviously. Mine has tons of
artificial rock, coral and such. Some of it looks much better than the live
stuff, fer cryin out loud.

A LFS/warehouse near me has a maybe 10 x 20 foot tank that has an artificial
'live rock' wall.
If you really scrutinize you can see the joints and where the 'coral' pieces
snap in.
Course they have a 15 foot skimmer too.

Have a high end custom installation place near you? They'd know.
But remember you would lose all the biological benefits of live rock- which
are too many to give up IMO.

http://www.reeferrocks.com has some of the best looking base rock I've ever
seen (and I've looked at a LOT of sources).
