View Full Version : Leather coral problem

My finger leather has been thriving in my tank for almost two years, but now it
seems to be having problems. It seems to be deteriorating around the stem or
base of the coral. I don't see anything happenning to the top portion of the
coral. I am reather perplexed as the water quality is very good

None of the other corals in the tank are showing stress, however I am worried
that if the coral starts to go, it could have a domino effect.

Has anybody seen this before?

Sincerely,
Mike

Hi Mike

Leathers moult from time to time.

It could be the start of this moulting period that you are seeing.
