I cant get this guy to stay in anyone spot in my tank, I've buried the rear
half of the tube in sand and the next day the entire tube is out on top of
the sand. I've moved him to seperate locations in the tank, but the same
thing happens, when it retracts into the tube it causes him to move. 3 days
ago he molted his second crown since i've had him. Any ideas on whats going
on?

It is unhappy, and will find a spot it likes when it is ready. Usually it'll
connect to a piece of LR. Mine did.

There is an easy trick I've used for years.....grab a tube of superglue gel
at the grocery store and using a drop or two, glue a small rock near the
bottom of the tube, it hardens underwater with no harm to the system. Then
bury the tube and it will be too heavy to pull up
