I bought some target mandarins from the LFS some weeks ago,
they were both about the same size (small) they seemed to get on at first
but the problems soon began,
one of my mandy's grew at a fantastic rate and with in a few weeks "I kid
you not" was double the size of the other,
the larger fish began savaging the smaller and marking it quite badly,

To cut a long story short I removed the smaller one to my sump (with some
rock) and waited to see if it would live,
well live it did, tonight to my surprise it is eating brine shrimp that
gets in the sump like you would not believe,
I did once have a standard mandarin that would eat brine but it was very
big,
Also what do I do when the other gets bigger,
is it likely they will kill each other if put in the same tank?

you can only have 2 if one is a male and the other is a female.
