I suspect these two are the same type. The second one is smaller, and
browner in colour than the other. I have heaps of them, and several
can be seen crawling over my silver gorgonian at night.

Yet to find what's eating my toadstool, if not one of the crabs.
Suggestions / opinions welcome! (Including how to catch whatever it is
outta there). I've been looking at night with a torch but have yet to
catch anything in the act.

They are both Majidae crabs, often called Spider crabs. These two are often called hairy
clinging crabs. The are of the species Mithrax
