new reef set-up

I am starting a new reef set-up and was wondering can I add 50 lbs cured LR
to tank without using MH lighting, also is this enough for a 30 Gallon tank

Live rock can be just fine with normal output flouresents, in the 2-4 wpg
range, iirc.
50 pounds seems a bit much for a 30 gal though. <g>

Yep, it'll be just fine. Btw, that size tank equates to 44.9 gallons, not 30g.
