Ink from lacquer?

Does anyone have a recipe to remove ink from the surface of lacquer. My 15
month old son made some not so nice art work on my coffee table. Pledge
didn't work.

I'm curious as to what this has to do with fishkeeping, <g> but I use baby
wipes to clean damn near everything. That failing, I break out the bottles
with the 'Mr. Yuck" stickers and try "409". Don't know where you are, or if
that product is avaiable outsidethe US.

Give this a shot -

1.. Avoid water. Apply cotton batting saturated with ammonia.
2.. Use a solvent of the naptha type.
3.. Poultice made of equal parts chlorinated lime and whiting with water.
