I am looking at rearanging my tank, I want to try and get that cliff edge
look, at the moment it just looks like rocks on rocks. Some base rock, and
some live rock and some with living corals on them. Anyhow, there is a bit
of a mix of soft corals and hard or stoney type corals. If I arrange the
rocks the way I want then some of the things will be out of view. So, I am
looking for a way to remove my corals and reattach them.
Some of the soft corals look like they might be able to be pulled off or
scraped off, but the hard ones like some brains (similar to Zoanthus and
Faviidae) and some that look like small plates. I also bought recently some
new corals on their own rocks and one Plexauridea that "was" attaached to a
small rock but somehow broke off in my tank when I was at work, this one
seems ok so far sitting in the sand right up against the side glass tucked
behind a powerhead to stop it falling over.
I read a post a while back about cutting or deviding some corals but I don't
think that covers what I want to do. So any advice here will be helpfull.
