Hi, posting for a friend... She is having a problem with here yellwo tang.

"Red veiny streaks and blotches where the tail and body meet, also on the
top of her body where the fin begins and all along the top spine. She is
eating fine, but has started to flick herself on the rocks a little bit.
All the water tests show fine, except the nitrate which reads at 50 or more
(very dark pink). Perhaps the undergravel filter is failing. When we had
that big dogfish, he would constantly dig under the gravel and had displaced
the caps. My guess is that since we have begun feeding twice a day to
satisfy the Trigger, maybe we have too much waste that is not being pulled
into the undergravel properly. The flow may not be as it should be, because
when I do a water change with the vacuum, I don't see any cloudy waste we
used to have before when disturbing the gravel.
Any help would be appreciated!"

Thanks, Ed
