Would someone please be so kind as to identify the following for me:

Being new to the hobby, I've recently learned that not all things that look
cool really are. Therefore, I'd like to be sure about what this is. I have
2 or 3 of them on one small piece of live rock. This picture is of the
biggest one, and it's about ½" in diameter.
