remote DSB and light

I have remote DSB in sump.
I have no light in sump.
Should i mount light there?
In future i will plan to make algae filter, but not now.

Putting a light over the DSB might help with gas exchange *maybe*, but other
than that, I don't see the point. Once you have macro algae in there, you'll
want the light for sure.
