Hello,

Is there such a thing as "good" red algae?
I have a fair amount of red algae presnet in my 55 gal tank but for the life
of me it doesn't really look slimy to me. If anything it looks more like
"fluff" wherever it looks to be a little denser than just a "surface coat".
What checks / rememdies / etc....?

Shall I try taking a picture of an affected rock and posting it for opinion?

Any advise please....

Miguel

Good or bad? That really depend where or how you look at it. Meaning, if
anything in your tank that will consume it then it is good. But nothing will
eat it or trim it down, then it is a pest = bad.
