At what pH level will a calcium reactor start to work or start desolving the
calcium into the water ?.

Nominally, at pH6.5, you'll get decent rates of dissolution.

Like many things in nature, it's a curve that's strongly in favor of
dissolution at pH6.5 and not at all at pH8.3. Exactly how much
dissolution will happen at high pH's, well.... I'd be lying if I
said I knew :)

From what I've read recently, pH 6.7 to 6.8 is what quite a few are setting
their reactor at.

Thanks guys. I was looking into making my own reactor but needed to know
