Hi;
I have some LR in my 80g but will be adding more, the water is fine and
there are no added livestock in there and probably won't be any for a few
months. Is it okay to add some Gracilaria, Turtle Grass and Cheatamorpha to
get a little more life started?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

That is up to you. Do you care if you have this stuff in your display tank
later on down the road? Some algaes are hard to remove once they take root. I
keep mine in a refugium, so my reef tank stays algae free.

Sorry, forgot to add that I was planning on putting them in the 30g
sump/refugium.
