caulerpa Question

hi all, if i grow caulerpa in my sump will it lessen bubble
algae/valonia algae? i'm starting to find bubble algae on my live rock
and on some of my sps corals, going to physically remove as much as
possible this weekend. any thoughts appreciated.

Yes it will slow it down, it will not cause it to completely go away
though. IF you setup the sump to grow the caulerpa so it thrives it
will use up the extra nutrients in the tank so the valonia has a harder
time growing.
