I have a 10 gal. Marine setup, which at the moment only contains 3 Hermits
(one blue legged,, one red, one fiddler I believe) and a Coral banded
Shrimp. Recently I was a looking very closesly at the rock and noticed
little bugs I guess you could call them, they're clear to brownish and most
closesly resemble silverfish. Anyone have any idea what these are and are
they detremental to the tank? If so, how would I go aobut getting rid of
them seeing as inverts are sensitive to a lot of the parasite treatments out
there. Thank you much in advance.

Josh,

These "bugs" sound like perfectly natural copepods/amphipods.

Did you use any live rock in your setup?

If so, my guess is these little folks came free with the LR.

My advice, let them thrive.....they're good guys!

cheers

Bob d is right its got to be pods of some kind. They're all good for the
tank and great food for fish. They're also a sign of a healthy system.
