Anyone have a couple of these to spare? I have a really small tank (2.5
gal) and only need one or two of each to keep the tank clean.
Thanks.

Atlanta, GA.
I have found them for sale on a few websites for not much money (the
clams anyway) but you had to order 10. Considering the size of my tank,
I could probably get away with just a couple.

I acquired my MTS (I don't have the clams) by
accident on plants purchased from a LFS. In
an area as large as Atlanta, you should be able
to call around to various LFS to see if any have
some MTS they're willing to give away or sell.
The clams I don't know about.
MTS breed like rabbits (or rabbits breed like
MTS), so even if you only start with a few, be
prepared to cull eventually.

It's possible they didn't get enough to eat. Those
of us who tend to overfeed usually end up with
too many snails. :) I have to remember to "feed"
my empty (of fish) quarantine tank to keep the
snails and plants alive. But I've forgotten at
times and found empty shells in there.
