Hau kolas..
I've recently acquired a trio of tiger botia loaches / banded loaches (Botia
hymenophysa) and have them in quarantine..anyway they
seem to delight in clicking at each other..but here's the question..what
does it mean?! I've heard others discussing their clowns do this;
mine never have. The banded loaches almost always seem to do it when chasing
each other around the tank, and it's *loud*. I can hear
it across the room but never been able to get to the tank to put an ear on
it without disrupting the behavior. they do it whether in play or
because one has blundered into the other's cave (at first they all piled
together, now each has staked out it's own resting area). Is it
aggression? is it "delight"? What is your experience/opinion regarding the
clicking of loaches? just intrigued :) TIA
