Is there anything specific that needs to be used to clean MH bulbs.. I
was thinking of isapropal alchol or something like that ? Any ideas ?

I normally use vinegar myself. Works very well and helps to remove
calcium deposits.

I use Windex. I also remove the bulb from the socket, don't clean it while
it's over the tank.

I also use vinegar or muratic acid, which ever I have on hand.

vinegar or muriatic acid to remove calcium deposits. Then straight ammonia
afterwards since it leaves zero residue.

There should be no residue left after using acid. Its what many car washes use
in their "spot free rinse" ;)
