I'm in zone 6 and my koi and goldfish spawn in April. You're may spawn a
bit sooner.

Are your koi old enough? I have 2 ponds, connected, with koi that are 10
years old, and some years one pond will spawn and not the other, sometimes
both, sometimes not at all. Very odd. ~ jan
