I got my first Acro, a nice purple Acropora millepora, and need any /
all tips.
I have it currently getting some pretty good current, and am not
familier with SPS to know if it needs no, low, med or high current.

any advice apreciated!

It needs good current, good-to-excellent lighting, and pristine water. Do you
have that already?

Marc -
I'm feeling confident all fronts, but I guess this will be my SPS
test.

(also detailed on my web site, check it out I'm interested in your
feedback)
I'm underpowered on skimmer, so have taken a two stage approach:
(Yes, I know I should have waited to add the acro, but it was so great
looking)

1) Going from a ETSS 500 to 800 Gemini
2) Sump from 25 to 40 gals

Lights, the T-5's are very very bright.

No phosphates, nitrate to speak of, good Magn. and Ca levels.
Am in need of increasing flow, but am 'wait listed' on the Tunze
product .

thanks

eas

I think I've been to your site before, and it is coming along nicely. It would be
nice if your images didn't take so long to load. Images should be around 110k or
less, once edited for the web.

You didn't mention alkalinity, but it is important as well.

Let us know how it all works out, with your new upgrades and your new coral!
