Has anyone out there tried one of these things?

It is much cheaper than a Turbelle but only if it doesn't require frequent
repairs.

Anybody tried smaller, corner unit in a 10g (40l) pico-reef?
Will it work or the waves created too strong?

I wrote the maker to ask if how much clearance was needed behind the tank
and if there was a way to install with the motor in a different position and
was told:

"About 4" and yes there is a way to install the motor vertically but I don't
produce it at this time, sorry."

Not only that, but unless they've changed it, the belt that comes with the
unit SUCKS! You have to buy an aftermarket Kevlar belt.
