Marc, that one looks great! Yes, the clowns do tend to get pretty
excited at the new kid.
Please let us know if it seems to move around more than a BTA.
My BTA went in, staid put.
My RBTA went in, and moves around daily, back and forth, to and
fro....

It did move out of the box, but for the day it stayed affixed right next to it.
Currently it is lights-out, and the foot is in place but the Rose is hanging
down like a mophead. ;)

It is looking great... Nowadays we can see more and more
of the rose bta in stores... they are becoming popular...
BTW - my anemone was also very small when put into
the tank, but both clowns take ocupance with no harm
to the anemone. They frequently feed the anemone
with chunks of food to big for them to eat. They also
defend the anemone from attacks of shrimps trying
to pick out the food from the anemones mouth...

Well, I put up a divider today, because the Rose was not looking good at all. I updated the
webpage with new images.

It has only been 8 days so far, but I tend to worry about this type of stuff.

Marc:
I have two BTA's (green and brown) in my tank. In my experience, it
takes a L-O-N-G time for BTA's to recover from transport trauma. My
green one took over a month after I got it to get to the point where
it was really happy. I think that even minute differences in water
paramaters between the old and new tanks cause it some trauma, no
matter how carefully you try to acclimate them during the transfer.
Hopefully yours is doing the same thing.

Maybe it starting to split again?

It looks better for the past couple of days. It takes food, so that is a good
sign. I need to test the water again.
Ever since I added the BTA to the tank, the clownfish are out all the time, even
though they can't get near it.

My BTA (which my wife insisted on calling Annie) split and now there are two
(which my wife insists on calling Annie and Antoine). Both seem healthy.
My maroon clowfish spends most of his time hanging around the original
anemone. Not only does he bring food to it, but he sweeps stuff away from
the surface underneath, carries algae away from it, and makes attacking
lunges at any cleaning etc. device that gets near it. Lots of fun to watch.

Very common behaviour. I can observe the same in my tank with BTA.
The female fish bravely charges my hand during some work in the tank.
Of course just after hiting my hand cowardly hides in the rockwork
not giving a chance for a revenge from this "strange and huge new fish" :-)
She is very aggressive if it comes to even a slight danger near anemone.

Good to hear your RBTA is getting better. Please post the link as soon it
settle in your tank without the partition / box.

Thanks Patrick.
I fed it tonight, but forgot to double check to make sure it ate the food and didn't let go. :(
I'll check on how it looks tomorrow.
